Meet Chelsea
With an undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Linguistics from NYU and after a four-year solo trip around the world, I first discovered my love for marketing in Cape Town, South Africa. There, I spent two years running all things marketing and sales related for an experiential marketing startup, before returning to New York to complete my MA in Public and Organizational Relations.
I joined the advertising world in New York City before embarking overseas to open a satellite office in Seoul, South Korea for a New York based digital agency. I led digital strategy for Samsung Mobile, a role which involved projects such as implementing the brand communications programs at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics and Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
I joined The Executive Centre (TEC) in 2017 as one of their first Marketing Executives, and I led TEC through a brand and digital transformation. Now, my full service team is responsible for everything brand related: this includes all internal/external communications, content creation, social/digital media, programmatic campaign management, sales and marketing material development, and stakeholder relations.
I am an adjunct professor, published author, a regular guest speaker at industry conferences, and I represent TEC as the Co-Head of the Urban Land Institute’s Women In Leadership Initiative, Co-Chair for the American Chamber of Commerce’s Women of Influence committee, and I’m on the Advisory Board of the ReThink Foundation, The Hybrid Future project, and the Martech Summit.
